The Carnegie's premiere ETA 20/20 event, Carnivale d'Expose was held October 15th, 2006. This spectacular & outrageous fundraising event for the Carnegie will stimulate your senses and inspire your imagination beyond your expectations. Featuring hand painted models, interactive galleries, "the big O" (an exclusive VIP lounge with olive-garnished martinis, oceans of chocolate & many other treats), Queens of the City performances starring Quasi, artist installations, DJ Mogwai, Carnegie Cosmos & other drinks, on-site body painters, artist designed lingerie runway shows, culinary delights, this party aims to blow your mind. Why: To raise financial support for Northern Kentucky 's leading center for the arts. With five art galleries, a magnificent turn-of-the-century theatre, and a state of the art education center, the Carnegie is poised to become a cornerstone of the regional arts community. Proceeds from Carnivale d'Expose will directly benefit the Carnegie.

Meddling with Nature is a exhibition of work by Jeremiah Johnson at Focus Gallery. Featuring a 9ft. long African Lion skeleton, fully articulated and suspended by wire from the ceiling. Promethea moth caterpillars will entertain you from their pristine glass habitat. Examples of medical illustration are right along side other stuff in formaldehyde filled jars, puppets crafted from real animals, all this and more! Try to think of it as a back alley natural history museum. We look forward to seeing you there! And if you like to look at Nation Audubon society books as much as I do, you will love the creatures of the night photography!

Paris is Burning is production of performance artists presented by Jam Productions including Living Breath Concern, Roesing Ape, Incendium Arts, Michael Georgiton, and Barnyard Burlesque, and Imitating Art. Future dates are in the works, so I will keep you posted. Located at The Mockbee on Central Parkway.

This neighborhood bar has a covered patio that's open during nice weather. Take on your friends with free pool Sunday-Tuesday and every day after that until 8 p.m. or play one of the many arcade games, which includes bowling games and Golden Tee. They also feature rotating exhibits every few months by local artists, with every featured piece up for sale.

January 2007 Final Friday Art Walk. Come see a multi media set of work by Jeremiah Johnson, including veneer, painting, sculpture, and photography.
