I would like to thank everyone who participated in our little experiment.
The show was very well attended… judging by the 40+ bottles that went
to the recycler after the show! Of course I would like to recognize all those
involved starting with the hair designers Kathleen McGuirk, Heather Hendrix,
Robin Ball, Audrey McDaniels, Jonnie Haeger, and of course Edgar Gonzalez
and Taylor Jameson. my faithful painted up model Christopher, our DJ Nephra
and my right hand ma’am and wrangler Tracy Blankemeyer. I would also
like to thank Dave Campbell for photographing the event with his authentic
35 millimeter Nikon.
I am also thrilled to announce that CTV covered the event so we should have a little TV spot on the website too. Links to the Cincinnati Enquirer as well as CinWeekly will be up very shortly.
I have certainly had my fair share of openings in the past… but this has got to be one of my favorites. Immediately I was amazed at the turn out. Even before opening we had people barging through the door to get out of the cold. To all those who made it out, I thank you very much for your attendance as well as your kind words towards the photography and the hair design, and we certainly couldn’t leave out the inordinate amount of food prepared mostly by Edgar. It appeared as though he cooked and baked his ass off throughout the week! Please feel free to peruse the photos by myself and Dave Campbell (that’s right ladies, he does weddings!) If this is any indication, I have a feeling this year is going to be very interesting indeed.
