One more orbit around the Aquarius Star
this month.
On Friday January 26th I had an opening at the Aquarius Star located in historic
Cincinnati neighborhood
of Over-the-Rhine on 13th and Sycamore. The show has a fairly fractured
focus that is actually very similar in scope to the Meddling with Nature show
last year at Focus Gallery. This time around however, I added some photographs
of a Catholic Incorruptible, a set of images from the Chicago Coin Company’s
band box housed at the Anchor Grill, Covington Kentucky. The show included
veneer, photography, painting, and sculpture.
Check out the Not
Imitating Art Gallery for a glimpse.
If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet it will be up until
the end of this month. I am also pleased to announce that I will be taking
on curatorial responsibilities for Aquarius
Star starting this month. So… if you or someone you know has an
itch for a show please feel free to contact
me. I am very excited about the future of this space and look forward
to bringing new and interesting art to the area.
